Quick becomes Bama’s second Class of ’19 commit

Hewitt-Trussville offensive lineman Pierce Quick lived up to his last name by committing to Alabama on Saturday morning.

Quick made his committment through a letter with the help of Chris Kirschner of SEC Country.

Quick is a four-star tackle and ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the state behind Oxford guard Clay Webb for 2019. Quick measures in at 6’5″ and 285 lbs. He also has offers from Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Jacksonville State, UAB, Memphis, and Oregon.

Quick will be a junior in the 2017 season as the Huskies look to repeat an unbeaten regular season while trying to make a deeper run in the playoffs. Hewitt was knocked out of the second round by Gadsden City.
